Home again!

Ah, to be back in Texas...

We went to Michigan to visit my Grampa this past week and it was SOOOO nice up there. The air is fresh and cool, I don't think the temperature went any higher than about 75 degrees, and we spent some good quality visiting time with my mom's side of the family. Overall, it was a wonderful trip!

Now we're back at home and getting back into our routine. The dogs came back with fleas (oops, Mommy forgot to give them their frontline before she left!) so I've been trying to manage that annoyance and keep the dogs from going crazy. Luckily, most of our floors are wood, so I've confined the dogs to the livingroom and hardwood floor areas to avoid a carpet infestation in this big house. Shouldn't be too bad, but I'm ready for that frontline to kick in!

Bobby's back at work. He went to the doctor yesterday for his finger check-up and the doctor went all loopy again asking "Why did you stop going to therapy?!" when he's the one that told Bobby to quit going in the first place. So now Bobby might be going back to therapy, but only if they say they can help and the doctor approves it. Frustrating.

I got word from my principal on Wednesday that I should plan on switching schools again until further notice. See, I missed the certification test this summer which would have given me clearance to teach art as well as music. So, until I take the test (the weekend after school starts) I'll just plan on teaching music for the first semester and then once January rolls around, we'll switch it up or stay where we were (depending on test passing and whatnot). This whole situation is making life much more difficult than it should be, but I suppose if the sbec website was a little easier to navigate, I could've had this all taken care of. Ugh. That's all the news on that for now.

I'd better get back to housework. Expect another update soon!
