Leaf Blowers

I HATE them. They serve no purpose anymore. It was a good idea until people started using them to blow anything BUT leaves anywhere BUT into a pile. Now, they should be renamed "wind assistants" or "contraptions meant to blow stuff onto people's cars while they're driving down the road."

That's ok. I happen to know its against city ordinance for workers to use a leaf blower to blow grass clippings, dirt, or leaves into traffic. That's right. Blow stuff on my car again while I'm driving home and don't be surprised when your boss hands you a ticket at the end of the day.

Jerks.

P.S. Grass clippings do actually serve as fertilizer so don't worry, it won't kill that precious, weekly manicured median if you leave them there.

  1. I've always thought leaf blowers were a waste...unless you're blowing stuff off the sidewalk into your own grass (like they do here for the most part). Still, rakes and bags work better, but it is a lot more work.
