Well, the house is coming up faster than we could've imagined! We signed our contract on August 26th, they accepted our offer on September 2nd, and we/they ordered the brick within a couple of weeks. Now, at the beginning of November, we have foundation, frames, and our lovely brick is sitting ever so comfortably in our prospective back yard. What seems to have taken forever to get started is now a little overwhelming. We'll find out next week when it will be completely done (apparently the main builder-guy has been known to predict completions within 3 days on all of his jobs). This will help immensely on our decision about our rent and lease arrangement for next year.

This week, we've developed a frame, which makes that ambiguous slab look MUCH bigger.
