I'm not on board with this one...

Ok, in my head, motorcycles are like smoking cigarettes. It doesn't do anyone any good and every time you use it, you get a little bit closer to letting it kill you.

I know that's drastic, but I'm one of (apparently) few people that are actually scared of motorcycles. I don't like the fact that you're not tied down to anything (I'm a firm seat belt advocate), there's nothing around you to protect you from flying/speeding objects, and should anything happen, I fear that the motor vehicles around won't even have a clue that anything happened. Plus, our health insurance isn't very forgiving.

That being said, Bobby still wants a motorcycle by the end of this summer.

Now, if we're going to go out and spend thousands of dollars on something, I would prefer a big HDTV and a surround sound system. EVERYONE can enjoy that, AND entertainment systems don't require a license, a safety course, insurance payments, maintenance, gas, life insurance policies, and risking injury or death when using them.

...but that's just me.

  1. Motorcycles look cool, and the idea is cool; however, they are dangerous. I'd never get one out of respect for my wife. Unless you're wife is into motorcycles too, they just seem like a "singles" mode of transportation. You know, when ever you're only responsible for you.

Good luck with that, Bobby's never met me, but he'll probably hate me for the above comment! Still, I love my wife and I'd like to not take any chances of losing her, or her me.
