Independence Excursion

As I've noted before, I desperately need a new planner. I loved the one I had last year (it was PERFECT) ...but the company apparently doesn't make them anymore. So I'm trying to revert back to the ones I used in college: Mead Brights, Student Planners. There's a negative to this though. My planner from this past year was July-June, while my long-forsaken Mead planners are August-July.

Now I'm sure I could go a WHOLE MONTH without having any idea what I'm going to do or what day it is, but really this is just too much for me right now. Plus, Mead wants me to pay over half the cost of the planner in shipping costs...for a random color I don't get to pick. Whatever.So I'm gonna venture out on this National holiday:

1. to see which stores are actually still open, and
2. to try and find a new planner that will serve my needs for the next 12-13 months.
