Relocating...again

I've designed a website (love, Apple--I don't want to hear any trash talk from any PC users out there) and will be switching our online communication methods over there pretty soon. Its mostly up and running, but Apple is revamping the .mac stuff and turning it into MobileMe-- or www.me.com

This switch is keeping me from completing the site and making it fully functional. As far as I can tell, everything is working except for the Blog, but once they switch all of our accounts/user names over from .mac to me.com, simplicity should rain down from the heavens. Its a pretty cool site, but I don't want to give it away JUST yet... I still have some tweaking to do--and I want the blog to work before I send you all over there. It would be silly to send my blog subscribers/readers/friends to a site without a blog.

As far as updates go, I was offered the job at the two elementary schools and decided (after an interview for a high school assistant position and a very hectic week of weighing decisions) to go ahead and take it. I will have a LOT of free time in my day, so I may just go ahead and start my masters or design a site for my music programS--It would be much easier to combine the site than to have two separate ones... we'll see if the principals will work with me on that... I will say though, the teacher who was there last year really did a crummy job on her site. "Here's some information. Here's my email. Bye" was the tone I gathered from it. Tsk. And this year she's supposed to be the Technology Teacher? Hmmm....

But, yay for employment and for having a month to plan for it. I can't remember if I said in my last post, but I didn't end up starting at Dillard's. We're on good terms though, and it would be a great connection to have for summers, as long as I get started early. Who's opposed to extra money? Not me!

Speaking of which, Bobby is working a PART TIME tonight... woah, mister big shot... =) He's working 10PM-2AM and will get a check at the end of the night. Who can argue with that? I wish teachers could get paid for side jobs. Gosh.

So that's that for now. I promise, as soon as our site is ready I'll post the link. (I know you're bubbling with anticipation... lol) Until next time....

  1. Ah...why'd you have to run off to Mac? Do you think their logo is the forbidden fruit by chance? I think not!

Just kidding, have fun. I've already subscribed to the feed, but that doesn't mean that I'm not dissapointed. (I realized that sentence was a double negative, but in that case is it okay?...That was like the only way to finish that sentence!)
