Tomorrow's my 25th birthday... I'm not quite sure I'm old enough to be 25, but the Gregorian Calendar says I am, so who am I to argue? I do think we should get cooler age-defining privileges than "renting a car" though. That's a pretty lame "reward" for making it this far if you ask me.
Moving on...
It's been a crazy month and a half since I last posted. Here's a "quick" update:
I lost a TON of weight in October, but I didn't meet my goal weight (short by 8 pounds) and am still working on that. Here's a pic of me when I started back in August and a pic of me from two days ago:
Insane, right? I still can't believe how much bigger I was... but it could have gotten a LOT worse if I had not decided to go on this crazy diet. Speaking of, I am in the "stabilization phase" where they slowly start introducing me to normal food again. This week I got to add FRUIT and I could not be more excited! (Well, until that last week when they add starches and breads! I'm SOOOO ready for that! 6 more weeks.... hang in there...)
The Promise finished strong this season. I think they said they made money this year, so they're planning to be back again for next season. I'm not sure if I'll be there or not, but I have 8 more months to decide, so I'm gonna enjoy my break for now. Just for fun, here's a pic of me and Jesus:
I got in my first "collision" on October 29th. I totaled my little toyota corolla. It was a very sad day.
But, somehow God always provides, and I got this:

Should be a nice little SUV to ride around in up to and when we have kids. On that note, still not pregnant and loving life without babies! Enjoy it while you can, right? Bobby and I are thinking about maybe finally going on our honeymoon sometime this summer... I'm anxious to see what he's got planned.
Now we're back to mostly normal. I'm back in flute choir for the rest of the school year and will be DVRing our Monday night TV shows. Bobby's still on the same schedule and is loving his job. We still don't know if I'll be switching schools in January, but please PLEASE pray I won't have to. I love my school, my students, and the people I work with. For as crazy as this situation is, I have truly been blessed by the people I get to see every week. =)
Hope you're all doing well, and remember to BE POSITIVE this holiday season.
